Artist's Comments
These are just a small handful of a new set of emoticons I'm working on. The aim was to create something a little more detailed facially than usual, and using a set palette of 'fleshy' colours. This is still very much a work in progress, and I hope to expand the set to include all common (and several uncommon) emoticons.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. I love how you've combined the idea of emoticons, something so fake and unrealistic, with the realism of a face and its featured. The detailed pixeling in these are just phonomenal. You certainly have done a fantastic job with these emoticons. Great work!
